five guest rooms are waiting for you in our family property dating back to 19th century, set back from the major boulevards in a quiet area downtown Rouen. 

on the second floor: BOVARY room-terrace and MONET-suite

on the second floor in the house you will find FORT SAGANNE-suite selfcatering: a flat with a terrace.

 

in the back of the garden you will find le GARDEN COTTAGE a charming outbuilding self catering with terrace.
 
finaly, away in the garden, le BUNGALOW-suite under the centenary blue cedar , as in a cabin (very confortable)

at 200m from all shops in a nice square as a village in the town

Upon your arrival you will receive complete up to date tourist information on Rouen and Normandy supplied by the local Tourist Office. You will be able to wander through the typical Norman streets with its timber architecture and national treasures such as the Normandie Parliament, the famous Rouen Cathedral, Saint Ouen Abbey which was a Benedictine monastery of great antiquity dating back to the early Merovingian peroid, you can also visit the large medieval clock -the Gros Horloge- as well as Aître Saint Maclou a charnel built during the Black Plague.

You will enjoy discovering the boutiques and artisan shops, the Rouen Fine Arts Museum which contains famous paintings by Claude Monet of the Rouen Cathedral, the opera and antique shops.

In the famous novel by Gustave Flaubert, Madame Bovary in fact spent several days not very far from the Villa la Gloriette in Beauvoisine Square at the Hôtel du Cygne.
